In San Francisco. I have a general feeling of disillusionment. Still shell-shocked and I feel pretty helpless. New Orleans is in a state of despair, truly, and there is nothing I can do about it, for the time being. Instability with my teaching job and unsure about the security of my house and possessions in NO; so I'm just trying to wait it out and keep the faith. It will likely be a few months before NO is liveable again, so I am looking at options of what to do/where to go until then. I feel pretty directionless, but connecting with friends and family keeps my spirits up, and I'm happy to be with Aden on my beloved West Coast.
