New Year, new possibilities...

Aloha from the island of Kauai. Lots of family time with the Hills- almost everyone made it, and it's been a few years since we could say that! Even my cousin in the Czech Republic made it! Cousin time was super quality. Lots of stupid human tricks, enough drinking to shame a frat house (especially the gma and gpa specialty vodka/gin tonic). Although it did rain more days than not, we have managed to eke out some hours in the sun- I got a little color, so my skin is not super pasty anymore, just a little pasty.

The dread of going back to school is starting to hit me hard. Impending sense of doom. I have to re-plan for 6th graders, and the iLeap feels just around the corner. Yikes! I never want to leave vacation. Ever. But I'll return and be fine, as usual. New year, new possibilities....
